Learn More About Personalized Derby Covers
Client contacted me with an image of a Celtic dragon sticker he was running on his windshield. Wanted to know if I could sculpt it into a custom derby cover. Of course! The trickiest part of the sculpt was the dragon’s head. The art on these is sussing out exactly how much detail my process can carry forward into bronze.
I frequently have clients ask what file format I require or how much resolution the file needs. It is important to remember that I do all my sculpting by hand and by eye. My process is not like having a piece printed, where your original file is simply placed onto the piece. As long as your image is good enough to give me an idea what you are looking for, it is good enough for me to use.
