Beware the Old Man Air Filter Cover Insert

This is something a little different. Had a customer ask about making a custom air filter insert. The design here is from my standard catalog (you can see the derby cover version here), but the geometry is unique.

If you look close, you’ll see there are mounting holes at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. This cover is designed to be screwed to the outside of the standard, Harley-Davidson air filter cover, once some mounting nuts are added.
