My name is Jeff Miller, and I want to make your derby cover.

I am a Mechanical Engineer, artist, graphic designer, businessman, father, grandfather, and a motorcycle enthusiast.

I started Omaha Derby Covers because I believe in beauty. In a world of mass market, imported products, I believe in American craftsmanship. I believe in the emotional, visceral experience riders get from a traditional, Ameican V-twin motorcycle. I believe in the love, loyalty, and dedication that riders feel for their bikes.

I started Omaha Derby Covers out of necessity. I had a vision for a derby cover design that I wanted for my personal bike. I looked around, and could not find anyone to make it.

The Design That Inspired Omaha Derby Covers

So I decided to make it myself.

I brought together my experience with engineering, manufacturing, technology, and graphic design. I developed a process where I can make custom, three-dimensional sculpted derby covers, individually, from bronze.

The process is not simple, easy, or cheap, but it is worth it. My custom derby covers are works of art unlike anything else out there. Each one is something you will be proud to own. If, God forbid, you ever find your riding days are behind you, you will mount your Omaha derby cover on the wall in a place of honor in your home.
