My hand cast, solid bronze custom timing covers are the perfect complement to my custom derby covers. Designed and crafted by me, in my own shop, right here in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. This is not mass produced, imported junk. This is the real thing: Premium, American quality you will be proud to own and run on your Harley Davidson.
Important Note For Milwaukee 8 Riders:
If you have a newer Harley-Davidson with the Milwaukee 8 engine AND it is equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), my current timing cover offerings will not fit!
As of July, 2026, I am working on a new design that will allow my timing covers to fit on VVT equipped bikes, but it is not ready yet. Follow me on Facebook or Instagram for updates. I expect to launch this new solution soon!
My Memento Mori sculpture, in timing cover format! If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to try out my work on your bike, this is it.
Memento Mori translates into “remember death,” or more particularly, “remember that you will die.” Seems like a fitting reminder, particularly for someone who is about to climb on a motorcycle.
I’m not shy about taking inspiration from past masters. On this one, I integrated some elements from a woodcut by Alexander Mair, and posed the main character in a manner like Michelangelo’s “Condemned Man” from the Sistine Chapel. I find this design very inspirational. It truly means a lot to me.
This sculpture is also available as a derby cover for Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles, as well as an air filter cover, here:

What's Included
In addition to the timing cover, I include stainless steel, black oxide coated mounting bolts. Feel free to use your existing mounting bolts if you prefer, but I like the look of the black oxide against the bronze patina.
Timing Cover Sizing
I support four different timing cover sizes, covering most Big Twins and Sportsters made since 1970 (but not Milwaukee 8 engines with VVT; see the note above). Complete details on timing cover sizing are located here. If you are unsure of which one you need, give me a call at 402 321 9639. We'll get it worked out.
Lead Time
If the size you need is in stock, I ship it within one business day of your order. If it isn't in stock, you can still order it: I make it to order, and my target is to have it out the door in 3–4 weeks.
Maintenance
I apply four layers of 2K clearcoat to every custom timing cover, so they are easy to maintain. Just wash with the same mild soap you use on the rest of your motorcycle, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use polishing compounds or other abrasives on your timing cover.
