My hand cast, solid bronze custom timing covers are the perfect compliment to my custom derby covers. Designed and crafted by me, in my own shop, right here in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. This is not mass produced, imported junk. This is the real thing: Premium, American quality you will be proud to own and run on your Harley Davidson.
Important Note For Milwaukee 8 Riders:
If you have a newer Harley-Davidson with the Milwaukee 8 engine AND it is equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), my current timing cover offerings will not fit!
As of March, 2025, I am working on a new design that will allow my timing covers to fit on VVT equipped bikes, but it is not ready yet. Follow me on Facebook or Instagram for updates. I expect to launch this new solution soon!
Custom timing cover with Eye of Providence design.
The Eye of Providence, a widely recognized symbol featuring an all-seeing eye within a triangle, is an image that has left an indelible mark on Christian tradition throughout history. This symbol, with its profound spiritual and historical significance, has captivated the imaginations of believers and non-believers alike.
The Eye of Providence finds its origins in ancient Egyptian and Middle Eastern cultures, long before the advent of Christianity. In these civilizations, the eye was often associated with deities related to protection, healing, and divine guidance. Its presence atop pyramids and temples symbolized divine oversight and protection over the land. It wasn’t until later that this symbol found its way into Christian religious imagery.
During the Renaissance, the Eye of Providence began to emerge as a distinct Christian symbol. As Christian scholars rediscovered ancient texts and art, they drew upon various cultural and religious elements to enrich their understanding of Christianity. The all-seeing eye was incorporated into Christian art as a representation of God’s omniscience and omnipotence. This theological interpretation of the eye reinforced the belief that God watches over and guides His creation.
One of the most iconic depictions of the Eye of Providence in Christian art is found in Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel ceiling. In the fresco titled “The Creation of Adam,” God is depicted as an elderly figure reaching out to touch Adam with His extended finger. Above God’s outstretched arm hovers a triangular formation with a radiant eye at its center. This composition illustrates the idea that God not only created humanity but also sustains it through His divine providence, an essential concept in Christian theology.
The adoption of the Eye of Providence in Christian symbolism gained further momentum during the Enlightenment era, when philosophers and theologians explored the relationship between faith and reason. The Enlightenment encouraged a more rational and scientific approach to understanding the world, and the Eye of Providence symbolized the compatibility of faith with reason. It represented the idea that God’s wisdom and guidance were integral to human progress and enlightenment.
In American history, the Eye of Providence holds a prominent place. It can be found on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States, designed in 1782. The seal features an eagle with a shield, and above the eagle’s head is a radiant eye within a triangle. This design represents the belief of the founding fathers that divine providence guided the birth of the nation. The phrase “Annuit Coeptis,” meaning “He approves of our undertakings,” further reinforces this notion of divine approval and guidance.
Throughout Christian history, the Eye of Providence has symbolized not only God’s watchful gaze but also His benevolent guidance. In times of adversity and uncertainty, believers have found solace in the belief that God is overseeing their lives and affairs. The symbol serves as a reminder of the Christian faith’s enduring presence and influence in various aspects of culture and society.

What's Included
In addition to the timing cover, I include stainless steel, black oxide coated mounting bolts. Feel free to use your existing mounting bolts if you prefer, but I like the look of the black oxide against the bronze patina.
Timing Cover Sizing
I support four different timing cover sizes, covering all Big Twins and most Sportsters made since 1970. Complete details on timing cover sizing are located here. If you are unsure of which one you need, give me a call at 402 321 9639. We'll get it worked out.
Lead Time
I try to have a few of these in stock at all times, but depending on various factors, I can't guarantee that I will have the style in the size you need available immediately. If I don't have it in stock, I make it to order, and that takes about two to three weeks.
Maintenance
I apply four layers of 2K clearcoat to every custom timing cover, so they are easy to maintain. Just wash with the same mild soap you use on the rest of your motorcycle, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use polishing compounds or other abrasives on your timing cover.
