Custom Derby Covers for Clubs
If you are interested in high-quality, custom motorcycle derby covers for your club, here’s how the process works to get your crew hooked up with the coolest derby covers, ever!
Option 1: All Derby Covers Are the Same Design
I price the first derby cover like any other custom sculpted order. My minimum on custom sculpts is $650, and it goes up from there, depending on the complexity of the design. To give you a rough idea, something like the Viceleros MC design shown here would be $850.
Once I have the mold for the first derby cover finished, additional derby covers in the exact same size (see my sizing guide here for options) are $495.
Once I have your club’s design sculpted, adding additional sizes of derby covers is subject to a one-time mold charge of $150. For example, if the original derby cover was sized for a late model touring bike, and we need to make some for late model softails, the one-time mold charge of $150 applies. Once I’ve got the new mold ready, each derby cover in that size is still the same $495.
Option 2: Separate Designs for Each Member
If you want your club derby covers to be individually personalized, such as with a road name or badge number, then it works like this:
The first one (where I do the master sculpture) is priced the same as before, starting at $650 and going up based on the complexity of the design.
Each additional derby cover, no matter the size, is $545.
Timing Covers
Timing covers work the same as derby covers.
The minimum for a custom sculpted timing cover is $300, and it goes up based on the complexity of the sculpture. If your timing cover sculpture is a copy of the derby cover sculpt, then you won’t have to pay for it twice.
Additional timing covers of the same design/size are $149 each.
Each additional timing cover size (you can see the timing cover sizes I make here) of the same design requires a one-time mold charge of $100.
