This is a very special piece commissioned by a client to honor a good friend who passed a few years ago. It is always a privilege when I’m entrusted with a project like this.
From a technical perspective, this piece was tricky because the client wanted the ring color-matched to his bike. Took a couple of tries and lots of “think time” before I figured out exactly how to make that work, but in the end I’m very pleased with the result.
